Had to take a picture of it, then edit it the best I could 'cause the scanner was weirding out and I've got a performance in a little under an hour... eh.
Definitely not my best work since I've uploaded last, but it's Valentines Day. Tomorrow. So why not.
This year has been... weird for me, romantically. One weirdness/rumor confusion guy, one guy asking me out, and one guy deciding not to date me. ._. After more than ten years of nothing. Luckily, I couldn't care less about high school romances. Not for me.
Anywho, Happy Valentine's Day. Tomorrow. xD
Edit: Right. Forgot to explain the character. This is the patch-work girl. I was randomly skimming through the 1st volume of The Oz Chronicls by Frank L. Baum (YES I OWN IT I'M THAT BIG OF A DORK) and came across this poem about one of the characters in the last story in the volume.
"Patchwork Girl has come to life, No one's sweetheart, no one's wife, Lacking sense and loving fun, She'll be snubbed by everyone"
And for some reason, even though I haven't read through that story yet, I started drawing the character as I imagine her. :3
Great picture! It's fun to see how people interpret Scraps, and that's the poem that pops into my head when talking about her. Great job on the backround design by the way.

Sir Bedevere: ...and that, my liege, is how we know the Earth to be banana shaped. King Arthur: This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how sheep's bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.
I still haven't read that part of the story all the way through, actually. My version was completely inspired by that poem, so it might not be accurate at all. Thank you though.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Discussing page views, activity and popularity, ~ChaoticSkye explores the inner workings of the community on deviantART from her point of view.
Although this does not apply to everyone, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority perceive things from a different point of view from reading this.
